Hakuhodo produces not only “for profit” advertising communications, but also environmental awareness and other national public campaigns.
In this area, clients may look to us to develop national movements that create solidarity between companies, regions, organizations, NPOs and NGOs, as well as individual sei-katsu-sha. Such projects typically play out over many years.
One example is Team Minus 6%, a campaign to reduce Japan's CO2 emissions. Instigated following a former prime minister's exhortation to “become one team,” the campaign we developed brought together a broad swath of companies and organizations to work toward the common goal of reducing global warming. The national movement we helped launch is now in its fourth year.
