Information is the lifeblood of our business. We continuously strive to earn the trust our business partners and society place in us by scrupulously managing the information entrusted to us. By the same token, we make it a priority to ensure that the information we provide to others is accurate and of value.
At Hakuhodo, we are keenly aware of the inestimable value of information. Furthermore, we recognize that we handle sensitive information belonging to our business partners. Our stance is that any information that has not been placed in the public sphere is confidential and to be managed with the utmost care.

Each employee is provided a copy of our Information Security Handbook. It is required that they keep it at their desks at all times. The Handbook outlines the importance of information management and provides details on the management of information. The Handbook is revised when necessary to reflect the changing requirements of society. We have also developed an information security e-learning program, which all employees must undertake.
Hakuhodo has established a binding privacy policy for employees.
Any employee responsible for campaign work and the like is required to undertake corporate privacy professional (CCP) training. At present, around 420 Hakuhodo employees have attained CCP certification.
