Hakuhodo has developed our own environmental management system. This system, which has a Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA) structure, keeps our environmental policy goals in plain view while minimizing our environmental footprint and facilitating our environmental communication efforts.
Identify relevant environmental issues in our business activities as well as applicable environmental laws and regulations. Establish achievable environmental objectives and implement plans for their realization.
Appointment of persons in charge of environmental management and building of an operation structure for the site by the Director of Market Design. Education/Training to ensure the appropriate operation of HEMS. Communication within and outside the site. Creation, management and promotion of operational manuals and related documents for the operation of HEMS.
Confirm and measure whether the planned initiatives have been undertaken appropriately. Correct any flaws in HEMS and unrealized objectives. Build an internal environmental monitoring system and improve HEMS through checks by auditors. Third party monitoring.
